Mogomotsi Sekobe

Born on May 7, 1985, in Botswana, Mogomotsi Sekobe initially studied Programming but found her true calling in community development and social impact. As an accomplished Event Coordinator and National Labour Project Manager, she collaborated on significant projects like UK Pac and Just Transition with COSATU. Her versatility is evident in roles such as project manager at Imali for an Agri Smart project and African Business Manager with COBASA, where she connected funders with African Cannabis businesses.

Selected by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, she managed national projects on labour and social policies, fostering relationships with major South African Trade Union Federations. Collaborations with NGOs like Section 27 and SPII showcased her commitment to addressing national health insurance and living standards in South Africa.

Mogomotsi’s managerial prowess was demonstrated in coordinating the 7th BRICS Trade Union Forum 2018 and the World Congress for BWI. Her networking skills secured sponsorships from government offices, highlighting her financial management expertise.

Her association with the Southern Sun Hotel group and innovative client referral system transformed their event and accommodation services. Notably, her passion for the Cannabis/Hemp industry is evident in her advocacy through an educational YouTube channel and guiding businesses in licensing and funding.
